About
The Orchards Golf Club in Belleville offers an 18-hole championship course designed by Belleville native and former Masters winner Bob Goalby. With four sets of tees, the course appeals to a wide range of skill levels. The layout starts out with a gentler front nine where you won’t find any doglegs on the first six holes but as you move towards the back nine, the course gets more challenging. The golf course has an interesting and diverse mix of holes, with the seventh through the 14th being a particularly notable stretch. You’ll have to contend with abundant out-of-bounds and both water and sand come into play often. In addition to the golf course, the Orchards G.C. boasts a multi-level driving range as well as a large practice putting green with a sand bunker.

Worth the drive.
Friendly staff. Good shape. Fun course. Great deal on GolfNow.
Solid Choice
This is an underrated layout with a nice staff and a fair price. It has a nice mix of holes and is fun and challenging. It was pretty wet and some tee boxes need help. The summer weather will help. Definitely worth the trip over to Belleville.
Great Course
Pace of play was a little slow, just due to a tournament going on that we weren't aware of. Course layout was amazing, course condition was great for April.
Course in Bad Shape
The grass was not cut and weeds were present throughout the course. The tee boxes were in horrible condition, all dirt with broken tees everywhere. The greens recently punched and sandy, which would have been nice to know before the round.
Great Greens
Overall the course was in great shape I got a little work out because they don't allow Carts off the cartpath until May. But the green best I've seen them in years!

Slow play on a sunny day!
Love the course just had to wait to play.
It was an 80o in November and it seemed no one was denied a tee time.
Improving every year!
Over the past five years I’ve seen great improvements on the fairways and greens.
Greens were great, fairways still need some work.
I do enjoy playing this course.
Disappointed
The course was in rather poor condition. The fairways were spotty with weeds. But the worst was that the head greenskeeper was top-dressing the greens in the middle of the day (we had a 12:00 tee time. On no less that 6 greens we were forced to wait while he ran his tractor over the greens and turned the sprinklers on, or we had to putt while he sat next to the green with his tractor running waiting for us to finish. When I brought this to the attention of the staff after our round, I was told that he does this all the time
Very nice course
Very nice course the only problem for us was they just aerated the fairways so we had to stay on the cart path and walk to our ball.
