Orchards Golf Course
About
The Orchards Golf Club in Belleville offers an 18-hole championship course designed by Belleville native and former Masters winner Bob Goalby. With four sets of tees, the course appeals to a wide range of skill levels. The layout starts out with a gentler front nine where you won’t find any doglegs on the first six holes but as you move towards the back nine, the course gets more challenging. The golf course has an interesting and diverse mix of holes, with the seventh through the 14th being a particularly notable stretch. You’ll have to contend with abundant out-of-bounds and both water and sand come into play often. In addition to the golf course, the Orchards G.C. boasts a multi-level driving range as well as a large practice putting green with a sand bunker.

Great Time
Went on Father's day. The pace of play was the slowest I have seen while playing here but totally makes sense for the day. Usually have great pace of play. Such a cool course to play!
Great course, needs better tee time management
The pace of play was super slow. Did go on Fathers day tho so that may be why. What usually took 3.5 hours took 5.5 hours. Had to wait for a cart and there were several different tee times stopped at holes waiting to play. Overall great course.
Fun course
I would like to play this course again during drier conditions. There were a lot of puddles and mud from all of the recent rain. Overall the course was fine and well maintained.
Well-manicured Fairways and Greens!
Great course conditions. Solid pace of play. Would help if iced water would be readily available free of charge.
Good pace
Our foursome and groups in front and behind us played quickly. The tee boxes were a little rough but in line with price paid. The folks at the bar and pro shop were nice and a good day was had by all
Good course
Recently played this course and was a wonderful course but only got to play the back nine due to the front nine being closed for aeration. The back nine was great but not being able to play the back nine was disappointing and a little disappointing that there was no warning on the golf now website that the aeration was occurring.
Course was booked
Golf Now had the course open. Course had a tourney going on during my tee time so I could not play. I don't understand how this happens.
Not on the same page
Well, I get a call less than 24 hrs before my tee time telling me that the course is closed due to a tournament. Golf Now and the course are not on the same page. I have no idea how this happens. Now I have to deal with getting a refund from Golf Now which can be troublesome. The course just wanted me to call and reschedule for another day. That is not how it works with golfers trying to play on the actual day they booked! CJ Cruser
Poor Playing Experience
If you are person of color. Please do not waste your money or time. While the Golf supervisor did contact me after I complained of issues of being mistreated by staff and other customers, the conversation lent itself to blaming me for what happened on several occasions. I’m never going there again. What’s more concerning is the manager’s abruptness to blow off my concerns to make me feel as I’m the villain. There are far more golf courses in the area that I can spend my money at!!!
Orchards Octobet
Nice course layout. Course in great shape.
A nice variety - some doglegs, some water , some elevated greens with traps but nothing too daunting.
Only negative was the greens were a little slow.
Staff was friendly. Great autumn golf outing.
Good course
First time at this course and we really enjoyed it. Tee boxes and fairways were all in good shape. A few of the greens had some rough patches though.
Liked the course payout. Will definitely come back.
Orchards review
Course is a nice layout. But the ridiculous no driving carts on the rough is annoying. I would venture to say 9/10 players will be in the rough at some point during a round and it can take a while to find balls walking the rough. Slows the pace of play way down and ends up costing me money because I don’t look very long trying to be considerate of groups behind me. Absolutely dumbest rule I’ve ever seen on a golf course!! Brings my rating way down.
Challenging Layout
Fairways in good shape. Eighteenth green a disaster.
