Play your best
Just like Mednah CC across the road, BGC is full of narrow fairways and postage stamp greens. However, a bad shot should not penalize you as there are multiple ways to play each hole.
Greens don’t have the break you may think you see. Pay attention to front/back slope of greens and with a little touch u you can find lots of pars/birdies.
I’ve played this course for 15 years and enjoy every round I play. Front 9 plays 4-6 shots harder then back 9. Enjoy the sporty layout on the back.
Best part of the course is the staff. They are like family.

Great Muni course!!!
The course is in great shape. The green fees are a great value. The layout is fair and open. The putting is a little on the slow side, however you have to take into consideration the amount of play on this course. That being said, once you figure out the speed, you won't be three putting.

Very Slow
Pace of Play was terrible. I quit playing after 3 holes. The starter was very kind and let me start over by myself with no other tee times coming up. Was able to play 2-3 balls every hole for 11 holes before league play came out. Decent course with varying holes and elevations
