The Sunday Game
80’s in September? Yeah… you bet golf is on the agenda - football can wait. Arboretum is in pretty good shape for this time of year. The greens are slow and a few of the tee boxes need some leveling but overall, the crew here has been doing excellent work (thanks for keeping the rough short).
Pricing wise, I was surprised about paying $75 here - especially with no services on the course. I usually play here during the week (to avoid the reserved tee times on weekends that take forever to play 18) and it’s $50 - which is perfect.
Come to Arboretum and enjoy a round of golf at a tidy track - just bring a lot of balls if you like to spray it.

Slow Pace
Waited on every hole starting at 3. The pace was terrible and they need to have somebody keeping people moving. It appeared the slow group was at least 5 groups in front of us. It was brutal. Thanks goodness I was playing with someone for whom I really enjoy their company!

course bunkers
bunkers were filled with water and sand not the best quality, otherwise nice greens and course layout.

Bad Layout
Make sure you bring GPS! Lots of quirky tight holes with forced layups off the tee if you can hit driver >250 yards. Ended up hitting 4i off of most tees, including a par 5. Course conditions in pretty good shape. Pace of play was slow, 5+ hours for early Saturday morning tee time.

Better than I remember
Hadn't played at AC in about 5 years. I can't tell you if changes have been made, my memory has faded or if my games is that much better. While it remains true that holes 2,3 and 4 require some straight tee shots, after that the course presents many scoring opportunities. The back 9 is visually the far more picturesque as the terrain and lushness of the course makes you feel as if you are playing in a high end country club.

Great course a real gem
Really fun, 6200 from the middle tee's let's you place your shots, a book that shows every hole with hints of where to be was very professionally done. Staff was great a definite we will play here many times

Nice course - slow pace
I found this to be a nicely laid out course with plenty of opportunities for the bogey golfer to enjoy it. The staff is super friendly. Given it was my first time, the starter gave a course book and told me about water on fifteen holes. I came out with only one ball short thanks to the book.
But pace of play dramatically slows down as the round goes into the back nine. My guess is because of players putting balls into water, long searches or the fun putting greens.
All in all I would still give this a 3.5 to 4 rating.
I plan to go back for sure because I left a few strokes on the course.

Course in great condition
Course was in pristine condition today. Pace of play was excellent. This course is always challenging with water in play on most holes. Gentleman checking us in this morning couldn’t have been nicer.
