About
Buffalo Grove Golf Club is an 18-hole municipal course that offers an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The gently rolling terrain is covered with mature trees and wetlands, all of which provide challenges on the course. In addition to the natural hazards, there are a few strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. Accuracy will be helpful when maneuvering the tree-lined fairways but it's not a terribly punishing golf course. There are a few tricky spots, but overall it's a forgiving and player-friendly layout. It's ideal for beginners and also good for a quick and casual round for any skill level. The golf course's affordability is another appealing aspect of the course. Buffalo Grove G.C. also offers a practice facility with a 25-station driving range and pitching and chipping greens.

Great course, always slow
Love this course. Simple but fun, always in good shape, but man is it always slow. The best part about Covid golf was the fact that the tee times were 15 minutes apart now it’s back to shoehorning tee times in 8 or 9 minutes apart. People suck at golf. Generally I’m one of those people and we need some time to enjoy our round and let the people behind us enjoy too.
it’s hard to keep coming back to this place when the pace of play is mostly always brutal. Anyway would still recommend it’s just hard to get into a groove.

Everyone friendly course was well manacured. Pace of place was good. Cart girl made 5 appearances.

need GPS
this is the second time I played here. No range, which is not good. And no GPS in carts, which is sorely needed. Unless you play here ALL the time, there are plenty of blind shots and valleys that you don't see. This course will cost you some balls because almost half the holes you will have no idea what your second shot should be.

Great value for money
Staff very friendly, place of play ok, some players were slow and will not let you play through, though starters were trying their best, I will definitely play again and recommend anyone. Clubhouse was ok,but considering corona virus precautions, it was serving well,

Good Track
Great time on this course today. Started raining a bit but the heavy rain held up long enough to finish the round. Course and greens are in pretty good shape. Will definitely be back to play soon.

Course has seen better days
I play Buffalo Grove a few times a year. Last Saturday was not an enjoyable round. The course needs work, but most importantly the staff needs work. The pace was beyond slow. The front nine took just under 3 hours. The ranger claimed everyone was on time making the turn. Clearly not true. We were a 7-some on the 15th tee waiting for 4 serious hackers who know of no golf etiquette, nor were they going to be told any by the ranger. The staff sent the cart shed kid to see the problem on 15, like he was going to do anything. The ranger couldn't care, the desk staff couldn't care, the nicest person on the course was the cart girl. She should find a nicer place to work. I wont be back for a long time.
