Have played Cary CC quite a bit. The layout in good for me. My friends play from the forward tees because they are old and out of shape. Makes a few of the par 4's reachable off the tee. Staff was great. Clubhouse is ok for this kind of course. Will always be up for playing it.

Love the golf course, pace of play that gave to improve
In the past you could come out here and move along the last couple times the pace has been bad and it stacks up on the back 9 for some reason.

Great layout but everything else leaves much to be desired
The elevation changes on this course remind me of playing Southern Utah. It makes for a fun day when you couple this with wide open fairways and very few trees or water to create trouble even on wayward shots. You won't find a straight putt anywhere on the 18 greens so make sure you bring your A game. Overall a fun and somewhat challenging course. HOWEVER, everything else about this course is problematic. Every tee box was under repair and had virtually zero grass, the greens were in rough shape, there is NO DRIVING RANGE. Don't plan on walking this course even with a push cart. It's extremely hilly which is a huge part of it's charm. I will play again at some point. Hopefully they get their tee boxes and greens in much better shape by the time I play again.
