About
Klein Creek Golf Club sprawls across acres of rolling prairieland in the western suburbs of Chicago. Trees frame the layout's gentle doglegs and tall prairie grasses border the fairways. It is a golf course that offers both beautiful scenery and a challenging round. Several lakes also dot the landscape, coming into play on almost every hole. The abundant water hazards are often coupled with spacious, intricately designed bunkers that are also usually paired with wood retaining walls. Contoured mounding frames the fairways and greens as well. Klein Creek Golf Club's layout is not easy by any means but it's fair, offering room for error on even the tougher holes with wide fairways and generous landing areas. There are a variety of approach options for the greens as well, providing great risk-reward opportunities.

Great day
Was an outing before we tee off and we moved very quickly. Enjoyed this course and will play again. Timed the weather perfect for golf!
Jeff
Played course a few years ago and it was better then. Conditions were not as good. Good course but not great.
Play here often
Tough course, if you want a challenge and play well enough this is a great course to quickly play a solid 18 holes of golf!
Punched greens without notice and bunkers not raked
Took out a client and playing conditions were not great. For the $ charged, I would have looked elsewhere. I love this place and play here regularly. However, it would have been nice to know what we were in for when I booked the reservation at full price. No alert, not manicured, same price.
The clubhouse was great and the food was excellent.
Friendly Staff Lots of Water
Great course, lots of water, very friendly staff. Highly recommended.
good golf
Course was is very good condition, especially considering how dry it's been. Fairways can be a little narrow but they don't penalize you too much for missing. Just be prepared to hit balls above or below your feet- lots of hillocks and swales. Greens were among the best I've played this summer.
Pace and Ranger
Very very slow is the pace of the game,I’m expecting a ranger to make it more faster,I’m very disappointed.
But the course is so challenging.
Great course!
Great course for beginners and beyond!
And the times are spread out enough where you don’t have to wait for the people in front of you or fee pressure from those behind you.
Klein creek
Fairways and greens in excellent condition. Greenside bunkers new and a fair play out, but most fairway bunkers sub par or being eliminated. Which is fine if you hit it straight, which I did today. Paths are worn out and in need of repair, but honestly, the focus is in the right place on maturing the bunkers and manicured fairways and greens. The path doesn't make much difference to me when the rest of the course is as nice as it is.
Go play Klein if you like a challenge.
Course Knowlege Would Help
This course has a number of nuances and features that can adversely affect your score and your disposition if you're not aware of them. Additionally, course conditions were a bit rough in places and the greens weren't rolling very true with uneven surfaces and also had some aeration remnants. Overall, it is a nice layout but improved conditions are needed to make this course worth the price and reputation.
Decent course if you get it for the right price
I have played at Klein Creek multiple times over the years and, if you get a good deal, the course offers a decent challenge. However, this course should never be more than $40 a round. They have neglected many of their bunkers especially those in the fairways. They are filled with weeds. The course needs to maintain or eliminate those bunkers. Also, some of the tee boxes were chewed up. Finally, what was once primarily paved cart paths are mostly now gravel. In addition, in the middle of my round our cart ran out of gas, which is inexcusable. I do appreciate the course giving us complimentary beers to offset our delay.
