About
Klein Creek Golf Club sprawls across acres of rolling prairieland in the western suburbs of Chicago. Trees frame the layout's gentle doglegs and tall prairie grasses border the fairways. It is a golf course that offers both beautiful scenery and a challenging round. Several lakes also dot the landscape, coming into play on almost every hole. The abundant water hazards are often coupled with spacious, intricately designed bunkers that are also usually paired with wood retaining walls. Contoured mounding frames the fairways and greens as well. Klein Creek Golf Club's layout is not easy by any means but it's fair, offering room for error on even the tougher holes with wide fairways and generous landing areas. There are a variety of approach options for the greens as well, providing great risk-reward opportunities.

Great Course
Had a great time playing. Loved the layout. Once the grass grows where they shortened the hazards it will make the course even nicer. We flew through the course once we got past the short par 4 3rd hole.
love the layout
Always love the Nugent courses. Greens were in good shape. pace of play was great. They need work on some of the bunkers. Overall great value for the money. The staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. I will be returning!
Great golf day
Course was in good shape and most importantly the pace of play was really good with cart path only. 4:20 total. Only negative was turn grill was not open yet when we made turn (12:30).
Sand
Found myself in the sand a lot. My own fault. Also found the water on a couple holes. Also my fault. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Sand was also in very good shape and had no problems at all getting out. Really like the course design and had a lot of fun playing. Would definitely come back.
Great Course
Heard a lot of bad things about this course prior to playing, however I had a great experience. Many of the bunkers seemed brand new and were great to play out of, I understand they redid these last year. Fairways and greens were in great shape. Loved the layout, which winds in and out of residential areas. The 10th hole is a very fun driveable Par 4, which the bar overlooks. Extra services such as bag drop and club cleaners after your round were unexpected at this price point, but much appreciated!
Overall, very solid round of golf at a reasonable price point. Will be coming back in the near future
So much improvement
There's been so much Improvement over the last couple years. Course is in good condition, bunkers were great, clubhouse is great, and the staff was equally good. Challenging course with LOTS of water, but if you place your shots and play safe you can keep the round manageable.

There's been so much improvement over the last 2-3 years... the course, clubhouse, bar, locker rooms e.t.c. If you haven't been here for awhile, conne give it another try. It's challenging, but good for the money!

20.00 price sounded nice. first time seeing course thought I would try it out. Course manager explained to me the fact that I wasn't given a cart & distance for a disabled person was my Opinion. I guess My opinion or experience was a dream. but offered me another afternoon in all fairness?
Good course for value of green fees
Greens are ok and tee boxes can be hit or miss, but overall a nice course that is maintained fairly well.
Not worth the money
Terrible fairways and greens are in horrible condition.
Only positive was some decent sand in the bunkers.
Over designed and No Range
Course is over designed narrow fairways on the first couple of holes with OB left and right. No driving range either so you are going cold into a tough 4 hole stretch to open a round. Currently play at about a ten and had an off day but this was not a fun course at all to play. I'd look elsewhere until you are a pure ball striker and have your yardages real solid. On top of the already mentioned issues greens were rock hard and would not hold any shots. No thanks on Klein Creek, don't think I'd play here again even if it were free.
Thank You for the feedback. When the course was originally designed there were no plans for a Driving Range due to the housing development that was built around it.
We updated our hitting net area for golfers to warm up along with a putting and chipping are.
The course has always been considered a shot makers course and we have four different teeing areas for all skill levels.
We are preparing our greens for the summer season and getting them in the best condition possible. We hope that you will come back and see the improvement.

Thank You for your input. . As you know, conditions are not ideal in the Spring and gets better as we move into the Summer. We renovated our Bunkers this past year are much better than what they were. We are always committed to make the course the best that it can be.
