Father's Day
Haven't played here in a while. Given the drought the course was in excellent condition. Greens were fantastic as I remember for previous years. Starter was a hoot and kept everything light despite us showing up a bit late. Got to play 9 with my son on Father's Day. Great time. I will be back soon!!! Excellent conditions.
Great course for the money! Played a IJGA tournament here as a kid and it’s still in great shape! Well kept, friendly staff and pace of play was par! Will be back!
Be ready for 9 holes of golf taking 2 1/2 hours. You wait at every tee box.

Why let walkers out on a busy day? Why let twosomes out on busy days? Why don’t the rangers and the starter do their jobs?

Only problem was the concessions were not open yet and it was 11:00am
Relaxed & Casual
Great little 9-hole course. With every other hole being a par-3 there’s room for all levels of players and great for those just starting to play and kids. Greens could use some more attention with a blower to clear the tree debris - grounds keepers can stay up with this when necessary, but seems to be pretty neglected unfortunately.

This course is maintained and usually keeps on pace. Nice staff.
Great little 9 holer.
Flagg Creek checks all of the boxes you’d want. It’s in good shape, including greens and sand traps. There’s just enough trouble to keep it interesting.
They have a driving range, a large putting area as well as a short game practice area.
The (in this case) 10th hole has a selection of cold, refreshing beverages that will round off your day nicely.
Nice challenging executive course in decent shape. Some of the ball washers were dry but otherwise good.
Great time
The staff is always friendly. But you shouldn’t charge more for one person in a cart.
Flagg Creek
It is nice to have four really nice 9-Hole courses near me. Flagg Creek is challenging but not too difficult. Sometimes you just don't have the time to play 18 Holes. It has shorter PAR 4s, and one PAR 5. Both with water in play. Definitely worth checking out.
Flagg Creek, Downers Grove Golf Course, and River Bend are really nice too. You can also try the Lombard 9-Hole off Butterfield if you want a flatter easier course. You can't go wrong with either of these four 9-Hole courses.
In terms of challenge 1) Downers 2) River Bend 3) Flagg Creek, and 4) Lombard. I have to add Green Meadows which is easiest but also a fun 9 hole with three shorter par 4s.
But I think I like Flagg Creek the best? It's nice to have so many to choose from in close enough proximity to where I live. I play from the white tees, and am somewhere between a beginner and an intermediate. I shoot a 96 usually right now.
