Course is great
The course was very good, but pace of play was terrible, over 31/2 hours. and that was over 12 holes!!, decided to stop playing. Maybe better another day and another time
Great price for decent course
Reasonably conditioned, but greens were inconsistent - speed difficult to gauge. Senior tees (gold) not accurate to the scorecard. Many just combined with the red forward tees (pet peeve!!)
Layout is fair, a couple interesting holes, but nothing special. Weird 6-6-6 configuration for par 3-4-5 holes - par 37/34. Small, old school greens. Yardages posted on the trees lining most fairways an interesting throw-back touch. Great “hot-off-the-grill” hot dogs, brats, burgers at very reasonable prices a nice amenity. The neighborhood around the course is a nice study in vintage, mostly post-war and mid-century housing architecture.
Super value HotDeal price of $12 impossible to beat nowadays.

South side gem
Pace of play was excellent. The greens were in good shape. Would recommend this course to anyone.

Fun golf course but challenging too.
The really big feature would be the bucket of ball given for every tee time. This course is slowly becoming my home course. Also big ups to Freddy he's everybody guy for a reason.

Worth the long drive to Crete
It was a long drive from Carol Stream to Crete to play this course, but the great rate at noon made it worth our trip. The pace of play was slow on the front nine, but the fivesome two groups in front of us only played nine. Liked the layout of the course and we had a chance to meet the owner in the clubhouse afterwards.

ALWAYS FUN AT LINCOLN OAKS
Always a pleasure to play at Lincoln Oaks. People who play here simply love golf. Nothing fancy about their love for the game. But it starts at ownership....and Mark loves the game. My only concern is that I wish some of the tee boxes were fixed more often. It can sometimes be difficult to find a good setup. Course layout is great. Not a fun course when it rains 🙁. The free range balls make up for any shortcomings.

Relax
The course was in pretty good condition considering all the rain the area has had recently. Fairways and greens I real good shape. I just never understand why other players are always in such a rush and will it up on you maybe to force you to allow them to play through. I always thought this was a time to relax and enjoy a few hours away for the everyday life things

First Visit
Played Lincoln Oaks for first time today. Course fairways and rough was very well taken care of. Greens could use a little more TLC but were in good shape, they were a little smaller than I expected though. Staff was phenomenal and very friendly. Only complaint was pace of play...it was brutal. Tee time was 10:30am and walked off 18th green at around 330pm. Will say however, that the starter warned us that the pace may be slower as a result of a couple foursomes ahead were playing slow. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be returning.

Great value
Course was green and in great shape. Four jamokes in front of us took their time on the tee box to duff it 120 yards. But for $48 on a Sunday morning, everyone in the group agreed we will return. The friendly bartender also made the 19th hole enjoyable.

Nice course slow play
This is a fun old school course with nice greens and a fun layout. Only issue is the play is slow so try to visit on off peak times

Course in great condition
The course was in great condition. Beautiful greens that were like carpet. Nice fairways and carts. Food and service were good.
