Don’t waste your money.
The course is not well taken care of at all . Weeds , dead trees , poorly maintained cart paths are a disaster
Fairways are fair as well as the greens . Forget about the bunkers , no sand at all .
I used to play there a lot 6 years ago and before that.
Very disappointed with the golf course.
Will not waste my money on this course again .
Tuckaway
I played Tuckaway Golf Course on August 1st with three other friends. This is the first time I have played this course in over 15 years, and I remember very little of the layout. The course was in decent shape, and I would assume this was because of the recent rains we had a week prior. The only reason I mention this is because I overheard a few regulars saying that weeks prior the fairways were brown. Regardless, the course was in nice shape. The greens are smaller in size and have subtle undulations on them and rolled very smooth. The sand traps were fantastic. The staff was very accommodating. I will definitely go back if I have the chance.
Not one live blade of grass
The course layout, location, and staff were good. The course conditions were worse than I have ever seen in 20+ years of golfing. There was live grass on some tee boxes (not the women’s) and the greens were in good shape. There was not one live blade of grass in any fairway or rough areas. It was equivalent to hitting the ball off concrete surface. Very painful and disappointing. I would not play this course again for free.
Great course
When I want a simple cool place to go to for fun golf at a good price we go out to Tuckaway.
Course was beautiful, wide open fairways!
The course was beautiful and challenging. The greens were excellent and the slopes were very challenging. Toughest Ive seen all year. Fairways were wide open and grass was easy to find balls that didnt land on fairways. No real water obstacles and only a few par 3s.
Staff was horrible and unfriendly, didnt want to give out water/Ice on 90 plus degree heat day. And claimed there was no water on the speed pour behind the bar.No cart girl or services and no courtesy water at any of the holes.
been there before
it's a decent course for the money the guy at the desk complained about us using golf now and how they get none of the money and there going to get rid of it like I really care
Excellent course
Course is always in great shape. When I played, the course got backed up, so I just played 9 .
