Improved greens and traps
The course has improved greatly since a couple years ago. The greens are in great shape, and the traps are manicured with sand in them now. The tee boxes appear to be under repair right now, but the fairways are in better shape than before. Would recommend this course to anyone.

Maintenance
Nice course and has been in the best shape I've seen in a while. Today, there were two problems - several of the tees had little to no grass. Greens had been aerated so difficult to putt - I wish courses would let us know via web site and various booking services when aeration was done.
Great Value
Tuckaway is a fun course. Most holes have a very open layout with a few trees lining the wide fairways, but the greens are very small and crowned. The course is very playable for the beginner but the greens make it challenging enough to keep better players interested. Fairways and rough are spotty but at $38 for a weekend morning is still a great value if you're willing to make the 45 minute drive from downtown Chicago.

Course is very challenging elevated greens, tea boxes need a little work though

Improved greens and traps
The course has improved in the last 12 months. The fairways are in better shape. The greens are rolling good, and are healthy. Also, most traps are improved with sand in them. Makes it a pleasure to play there again.
