Much better than 5 years ago
Eagle Point has had quite the tumultuous past over the 10 years my parents have lived near the golf course. This has been one of the better times we have played, especially given the covid 19 situation. Eagle point offers quite the challenge especially on the par 5's. We played the front 9 and had a great time, fairways were great, the rough was rough as it should be, the water hazards are not forgiving if you have a slice. It's definitely a course worth giving it a second chance if you haven't in a long time. Only negative I have to say is that we have felt rushed by groups behind us, whether that's from us playing the game it's meant to be played or others groups playing best ball, Not a fault of the course or management.
Beautiful Course
We loved this beautiful course from start to finish!
The course was beautifully maintained.
When we get back to Bloomington we will look forward to playing again!
Great greens!
Greens and fairways were great ! No sand in any of the bunkers
The pointe
Enjoyable course challenging but not too challenging for those of us who are not that good it's still fun to play
Great Course, Bad Members
Wonderful course to play and has a beautiful clubhouse. However, the "members" of the course/community will annoy you and call the shop about slow play even if you are playing at pace.
Fantastic course
Beautiful layout. The sand traps were interesting. No sand. Told by member sand was taken out?? Restaurant food and service was very good
Long Par 3's
Beautiful course! Sand taken out of traps and almost unplayable. Joined a Club member for back mine. Had a great time. Enjoyed this course and would like to play it again.
Tough course
This course was nice, but it’s tough and tight. Fairways are narrow and you have house to your left and ob on your right most holes. Greens were fast and tough. Overall I liked the course a lot. Layout was good and everything was maintained very well. Nice course, it was just really tough
Challenging Course
Our first time at this course near Bloomington and Lake Monroe. Pro shop gentleman gave us a brief introduction to the course, and we watched hole by hole videos on course website. This is Hoosier hill country and it was nicely incorporated into the course. The hills resulted in a quite a few blind shots, so knowledge of the course is a definite advantage. Fairways are tree lined on many holes making accuracy a premium. Restaurant was quick with a burger at the turn. Greens nice except for unrepaired ball marks. Some rain would definitely help the course. Overall a nice course we would play again when in the area.
