Hughes Creek Golf Club

The bathrooms were bad, on the course and at the clubhouse. The golf carts were soaking wet in the morning. The course had dishevelled areas and I tripped and fell pretty badly. Was bleeding from the injury sustained.

Course was in very good condition despite the heavy rains. A couple of the greens had some patchiness and all putted slow but were consistent. Traps were in stage of renovation which made them virtually unplayable. Still the layout and condition of the tee boxes and fairways made it scorable but tough if you spray your shots. We'll be back

Hadn't played Hughes Creek in many years. Excellent value for the price. Greens were a little slow.

Enjoyed the course.

Need to redo cart paths and remove old and resurface with new blacktop.

First time I had carts without windshields or USB

Ok, the staff and layout were great, but drainage on the front nine was poor leaving for soggy conditions. Fix the cart paths and do some weed control and this would be a wonderful course.

Course used to be in better shape than now. New management company took over and raised prices while not adding in any extra amenities. There was no cart girl or places to get a cup of water on a hot day. It had rained earlier in the day and so it was cart path only on one of the holes, but no one informed us until we got there. Pace of play was ok, but cart paths were in bad shape. Overall not worth the $50 price when you can go 30 mins farther west and get just as good of golf for half the price

Had to stop after 9 holes. , almost 3 hours to.play 9 holed.

No one to move anyone along.

Course was in good shape - greens were especially soft, given the dry conditions.

Decent price and pace of play was good for most of the round until last few holes but still wasn’t terrible. Cart paths are in bad shape and bunkers weren’t very soft sand but that was only complaints and nitpicking really. Otherwise course was in great shape, no hope of finding any stray shots just off most holes so hit them straight or it’s lost for sure! I would come back to this course but typically like to play new courses all over Chicago rather than play the same ones over and over.

Really needs to add a driving range and have water on the course.

I have played this course many times over the past few decades, and it is shocking how bad it has become this year. The tee boxes and greens are terrible and the whole course is infested with dandelions. All of this and they raised their prices. Definitely won’t be playing there again.

This is an old course that has gone through a few management changes recently. Maintenance is just adequate, although holes 4 and 5 need major work. Cart paths are generally in really bad condition.

Beautiful course. A long time favorite of mine. Normally in excellent condition. Some nice elevation changes. Good mix of holes. No driving range. Definitely worth the trip to play it.

The weather was perfect for this time of year. The course was in very good shape. Tree's had already lost most leafs, so wasn't a problem finding the ball. Had a real nice time on one of our last nice days of the year.
