A Gem
Had low expectations at this county parklands course. I found the course and the conditions fine. I always judge a course by the state of its sand tracks. They were well raked and the “sand” did not have mud under the initial layer. Hitting out of them was OK. The greens were in top condition and they were pure.
The course is in very good shape.
A really great course for public play. Beautiful. Challenging. And in great shape.

Great Course Terrible Rain Check Policy
Last year it took me and my playing partner 3 hours just to play 9 holes and there were 4 foursomes waiting to tee of on #10. I told the pro shop about this issue and asked for a 9 hole rain check since I wouldn't have had time to finish my round. Although they did so they do not carry them over after the last season ends. This is a terrible policy, especially when the delay was a course management issue not one created by weather or me personally. I like the course but I HATE their policy. Please consider carrying over rain checks to the next season and let me use what I paid for already. Thanks.
Short, fun track.
Short, fun track. Greens were slow day I played but are usually fast. City recently reconstructed the course mostly focusing on the greens and surrounds and it has significantly improved the experience. Course was very busy and pace was 4 hrs 45 mins for 18 too slow for a 6000 yard course. Pro shop staff very helpful I forgot my golf shoes and they were able to get me a pair quickly and inexpensively.

Very nice, challenging golf course. Slope and ratings don’t give it enough credit. This is a tough track, and in great shape
Excellent North Shore Course
Really happy Glenview decided to stay open this late in the season. Many others have closed for the season. What a shame. 55 degrees in Chicago on December 10 , I broke a sweat today on the course. Thanks for staying open staff. As always, great staff, great playing conditions. Absolutely a terrific golf experience. Highly recommend!!!
Well Kept Up for December Golf!
There was a freeze delay which resulted in a shotgun start at 12 for everyone but the course was in great condition considering it’s December in Chicago!
I played here once over the summer in a best ball scramble and we had a very rude marshal on us for no good reason which was very annoying, but really enjoyed the course this time around.
