I would say I enjoyed the course it had a lot to offer. It plays very short even from the Blue tees. Ground was a little dry however the grass was extremely well maintained along with the greens. The carts were a little on the low end, wouldn't brake and accelerated slowly. Other that booking too many tee times back to back causing a huge slow front 9 it was a great place. I will go again for sure and just pick a tee time more appropriate for fast play.
Great place to play
First time visiting and was pleasantly surprised with the condition of the course and value for the money,. It has just enough rough and the second cut was just right. The fairways were in good shape and they are truly rolling hills with lots of up and down play on each hole. The course won this time but I will be back!
Fun Track
Paid $26 to play 18 holes
I’d take advantage of that deal five days a week if I lived closer.
Fun, challenging and easy to get around the course.
Highly recommend and I’ll be back in the future
MEMORIAL DAY PLAY
We had a great time was very slow tho... over 5 hours for a 2 on 2 scramble
Wow...what a hidden gem!
Take the time to drive out to Godfrey, IL to play this hidden gem of a course. The staff were extremely friendly and the course was in amazing shape. We even got a treat to see some deer and wild turkeys.
The course is in amazing shape, and the name says it all. The course has character and charm. There are plenty of hills and sidehill lies. The greens have slope and run true. There is even a short executive course and driving range too.
The pace of play was excellent! There is water on the course, and this course requires the player to play some target golf; while there are holes where a player can tee it up and let it fly, with wide-open fairways. There are two holes that require a player to play a draw to a hole that is 90 degrees left from the tee box, but very doable and there are local rules that preclude the player from taking it over the trees... so don't make that mistake.
They offer military discounts too, so don't forget to ask for that as well. Awesome track and well worth the drive if you are tired of playing the same ol' course.
poor service
the course was in nice shape fairways not so nice greens in great shape i loved them, the help was very rude,i almost left
Nice course
Course is in very good condition greens are in very good shape I will play there agin soon
Good short course
This is a good course for high handicappers (like me) or for a faster round. A few of the holes on the back nine are challenging. Good a great rate on a hot deal from golfnow.
Bernie
Really enjoy playing this course. Friendly staff and they always have carts coming around to make sure you have cold water.
The goose droppings on some of the tee boxes and greens are somewhat of a bummer.
Rolling on the Hills
Nice course. Very friendly staff. Nice, safe layout.
Fm of course was a very in pleasant individual
They have the right to cancel a teatime at any time we were a few minutes late and he canceled the teatime there are approximately six people at the whole course it was cold outside it was no need to do that so he wanted us to do it I Billy says they give golfing out for you teetimes if they don't get paid they having issues with it even though it's part of the deal
Decent condition for winter play
We really had a good time at Rolling Hills. Got a chance to play about 14 holes. Only disappointment was that one of our carts died and it took about 25 minutes for them to replace it. Otherwise, it was a nice day to play and conditions were pretty good. I was impressed with the greens for February play. Rough was manageable and fairways were pretty good. The two-some in front of us was very, very slow. But I don't blame the course for that.
