Overall outstanding experience
The friendliness of the staff is top-notch. The course was in great shape for this time of year. Will definitely be back here soon.
Great Staff
Outstanding staff working that day makes it easy to come back.
Great Course
Great course for the price. The layout is short but challenging. Course is always in great shape. Staff is super friendly and they have a nice warm up area and driving range. Highly recommend.
Too many unrepaired ball marks on greens
Have a friend who lives over the river so we decided to play at Arlington Greens. It is a solid course but nothing really stands out about the place. The clubhouse looks like it hasn't changed in about 30 years.
The course itself is solid and was in pretty good shape. The tee boxes and fairways were maintained. Where the place suffered was on the greens. Maybe people who play here don't know how to fix ball marks but all of them were pockmarked with unfixed marks.
There were so many marks doting the greens it was like there was a rule AGAINST fixing them! We must have repaired four or five on every hole, which was a downer. The problem was if you had a long putt, you would have to fix about two ball marks every time do ensure a true roll.
An OK course but don't feel compelled to play there again, especially due to the bad greens. Lots of better options on the Metro East side.
Tee Boxes
Fine course to keep you game tight. Greens are fair and the fairways are in good condition. The staff is frendly and the Staff Pro is spot on as the teacher of the game.
