Best 9 Hole Course in Western Suburbs
For a 9 hole course, this course has a great layout with a few challenging hazards. This was my 1st time playing this course , but I will be back because this course can be played over and over, and still be fun. The staff is super nice, a drink cart comes around often and the pace of play as much quicker than any course in this area. The sand traps need a little maintenance, but totally understandable since we are in a pandemic.

when I booked the online reservation indicated, and said, cart included. when I got to the course I was told it was not and had to pay additional fee.
This is not the first time this has happened at this course and, while I do like to play here, there are many other 9/18 hole courses in the area that offer the same or more challenge at an equal to/better rate = more value to choose from. Plus, I never have an issue about carts being included/not included at these other courses
Crazy slow
Got there 20 mins before our tee time to find the course was running 35 mins late. So hung around for close to an hour before teeing off. Huge backlog on the course when we got out. From teeing off on first to teeing off on second was 25 minutes. Another 25 minutes before we teed off on the third. It slowly got better but between arriving and getting back in the car to go home was close to 4 hours - for 9 holes! I actually like the course but this was ridiculous.
Great Course
Really nice, well maintained course with terrific people on the staff. Hidden gem of west burbs. Pandemic has Wheatstack closed but excited to come back multiple times especially once that’s open.
Foursome
First time playing here. 9 hole course with decent layout, a few challenging holes with water and some sand traps. Layout is forgiving with wide fairways. Keep in mind that the 9th hole is a par 3. No beer carts or food was available when we played. The restaurant was also closed. The pro shop did have water and other beverages available for purchase.

Great course for price.
I always like playing this course. Great mix of sand, water, trees, and undulations. The staff are always great and can't beat the price. Great course to walk too.
