Riverbend refresher
I've been an avid Riverbend player for awhile now and the course is definitely a nice little challenge for a 9 hole course. With beautiful conditions, and the hilly open format the course definitely provides a nice high end feel. The hilly landscape,and layout, creates some excellent fairway challenges, and the foresty nature of Lisle as a city allows for some challenges in terms of natural hazards. It's always amazing how well I play elsewhere after a few rounds here. Riverbend is a nice quick challenge that can really force a golfer to learn a bit while playing a great course.
Great 9 hole course with some good challenges. Very friendly staff and well taken care of. Will definitely be back!
One of my favorites
This course isn't the longest but it's probably the best 9 hole course I've played. It's easy to get on, affordable (especially for residents) and well kept. I play here 3-4 times a year and reccomend it. The restaurant is good after a round, as well, with an amazing sunset view. Actually, a better view than just about any other local restaurant I can think of.
In good shape
River Bend is in great condition, and the greens are excellent right now. Pace of play was not speedy, but not distractingly slow
Short tree lined walk.
Not a long course. Challenges throughout. Easy greens.
$9 Hot Deal was very worth it.
Only 9, but...
It's a nine that is well thought out with two par 3s, two par 5s and interesting, well maintained greens.

I really enjoy this course nice layout and in good condition. Staff very friendly.

The course was nice and very well taken care of. The course ranger was very rude. The staff was rude in general and i would not go back.
Great 9 hole track
A quality 9 hole course that is fun to play! Great restaurant too- The Wheat Stack where the Friday fish fry was outstanding!!

Brutal
This was one of the worst places I have played in awhile. They always always overbook and you are constantly waiting. This place is a joke they need to figure it out ASAP. So much potential and such a let down.

My new favorite 9 hole course
Good length from back tees but 3 other tees plus another set at start of fairway which would be great for kids. Plenty of natural areas and water to think about but not impossible to get around. Great condition considering rains lately. Friendly pro shop and ranger. Unfriendly starter but 2 of 3 isn’t bad. Looks like nice restaurant but couldn’t stay.
Great competitive course
Lily Cache creek is peaceful, and also makes this course competitive & fun to play. Thnx River Bend team.
