River Bend Golf Course

Went last year in the Fall the courses weren't that busy and I had a buddy we were and just wanted to play 2 and they just kept sticking people with us until it was 4 even though there was no wait when we got there. I know they do these kinds of things if the day is packed on the corse however on this day it was not the case even the man in the pro shop could not belive how slow it was as far as activity on the course

To be fair if you are looking to play a beautiful course and have 4 you should have no problems with this course

Always well maintained , staff is very helpful and courteous . Love playing this course. I have played it over dozen times and it is always exciting and challenging.

Very nice 9 hole course. Kept up well and the pro shop staff very friendly. If you don’t have a deal, it is very expensive for 9 holes. You could find 18 for almost the same price in the general vacinity. The dollar amount I paid was a good value.

Course was in great condition, but the pace was really slow. Took 2 hours and 50 minutes to complete 9 holes. Our foresome had to wait on every tee for a threesome with carts in front of us.

Great tee boxes. Even got complimentary sunscreen. Very senior and lady friendly.

I have played here a number of times and always have a good experience. The course is in good shape; tee boxes, fairways and greens. Staff is very friendly ; pro shop, starter and rangers. These people now how to do it and seem to have a good time doing it. Restaurant is also good with reasonable prices.

Customer service was Horrible. We made it to the FIRST green and the Ranger was already getting on us for being too slow. First words out of his mouth were "Is there a problem here?" Completely rude. We are seasoned golfers and we were playing a normal pace. At hole 7, he again returned and became verbally confrontational. We all became very angry. He kept yelling "2 Hour 14 Minute pace!" We had let another group play through that had only 3 golfers, so we were 5 minutes off pace. I've golfed for 30 years and have NEVER been treated so poorly by a ranger. Ruined my Sunday. My foursome will not play this course ever again. I tried calling the course multiple times, and just get sent to voice mail, and no one calls me back. Very unprofessional. Judging by other reviews, this is a normal occurrence.

Excellent experience. Course is not too easy or too hard. Great for new golfers and has good challenges for experienced golfers too. A lot of fun

Good, long holes. Modestly wide fairways. Well-kept and a friendly place.

The Lisle Park District really takes care of this place!

I really enjoyed playing this lovely and challenging course. The golf bike option was the most fun I've had on a course. There is no extra charge, and you get a little extra exercise while biking and golfing.

Very good, hard course. conditions are great. Plays SLOW. And they run out of carts, alot.

Excellent course, excellent people, and superb food and quaint surroundings.

This is a 9 hole course. It's in nice shape. But the wait time is ridiculous. It takes about 3 and a half hours to get through 9 holes which defeats the purpose of playing 9 holes. Also, there are never enough golf carts. Essentially you have to wait for a cart just before you tee off as people on the 9th hole finish. From start to finish you wait and wait and wait... Just not a good experience.
