River Bend Golf Course

This is a very challenging 9 hole course. Water, trees, and the greens are well protected by bunkers. The greens were in good shape and very undulating and quick. Try River Bend and you won't be disappointed,

Very challenging, beautiful 9 hole course. Anytime less than$27 w cart, more than worth it.

This is a well maintained course with a very friendly staff. First time playing here, and the course (tee to green) is challenging to follow from hole to hole with it squeezed into a small space. Very beautiful landscape especially with the wetlands. Challenging course for a novice.

The green was not even ready. They were fixing it.

Starter likes to let his friends jump out on the course in front of groups which had already teed off. 3.5 hours to play 9 holes, and the rangers did nothing to help speed things up.

This is a great little course if you're looking for a quick 9 holes. By no means a championship challenge, but a nice challenge if you're looking to get out for a quick 9 holes. While not very difficult, the course is set up as a fair challenge and you have to really plan your way around the course if you want to score well.

We got a little rushed off the first tee which would be my one complaint. Tee boxes, fairways and greens all in good condition. I would recommend this course to someone looking to play a quick 9. Good for beginner or intermediate golfers.

For a 9 hole course River Bend is really worth playing with every hole scenic and challenging.

Well maintained relatively challenging 9 hole course. I would say one of the nicest 9 holes in the area.
Pace of play is a little slow sometimes with a mix of walking and riding players, this could be better controlled. If you are in a hurry be careful on the weekends. Weekend round took 3 hours+ way too much for 9 holes.
Other than the pace its a nice challenging course and friendly staff.

9 holes on a Sunday afternoon took 3 hours! Either they overbooked or they were inefficient in pairing groups together.

Definitely will come back with many friends on a weekly basis.

I enjoyed river bend. It wasn't overly challenging until you got to the greens. Hard to read. Nice course for local golf.

4 of us played 9 holes at river bend golf course on the morning of July 13th. Despite the considerable amount of rain over the past 24 hours, the course was in pristine condition. Especially considering the price point, I would be hard pressed to find a better bargain in Chicagoland.

Way nicer than comparably priced nine hole courses around.

This is a very challenging 9 hole course. The biggest problem here almost always is pace of play. We played as a 3-some and it was 3 hours for 9 holes. The price attracts a lot of people who are learning the game or think it is a picnic on a golf course. No sense of urgency to hit a ball, get out of the fairway after they hit or get off a green. Zero golf etiquette noticed here. However, there is a nice golf course under all of that.

Extremely over booked. Had to wait a minimum of 12-18min per hole. I will play it again hopefully a little less crowded. I challenging little 9 hole course..

Great nine holes walking or riding. Drive it straight and be rewarded. Greens need to be kept up better.

Great course with 4 sets of tees. Challengling but fair. Great condition and very scenic. Will definitely be back.

Tight layout that has balls all over the place from different holes. I would not recommend holiday play - 3.5 hours for 9 holes!!

Friendly staff. Pace was right on, never pushed. However, there as no beverage cart on a holiday weekend....big miss!
