About
Marengo Ridge Golf Club opened as a nine-hole course in 1963. Spread across rolling, wooded hills, the course was crafted by re-purposing an old farm. The working cattle barn was even renovated to become the clubhouse. As the golf course garnered a local following, a new nine was added in 1990. The more than 25-year difference between when the two nines were constructed give the course a unique character. The layout seamlessly blends modern techniques and classic design. The distinct topographies of each nine add even more variety. Marengo Ridge Golf Club's original nine holes weave through mature trees while the newer holes are more open and links-style. There are several tricky doglegs throughout but it isn't overly punishing if you're errant. You'll also face several water hazards and strategically placed bunkers.

Fun layout
I really enjoy playing this course. The layout is fun and challenging. It’s a bit of a drive from where I live but worth it. Grass range and nice chipping and putting green.
Just one issue. The maintenance crew needs to turn off their lawn equipment engines when we are playing off the tee boxes.

4hr 15 minute round on a packed day, very solid pace of play
Nice place
Course was in great condition even after the rain. Some holes are challenging, but you are definitely able to redeem yourself with some of the other holes. Give it a go!
