Fun course and great staff!
Starter was exceptional and bar staff on 19th hole great as well. Fun course and in much better shape than last time I played it years ago. Not from the area so don’t get to play this often but I’d play it again.
GRASS WAS CUT VERY WELL NO LOSING BALLS WAS NOT A PROBLEM ALTHOUGH WE HIT THE FAIRWAY ALMOST EVERY TIME
WHAT I CAME ACROSS AT ANOTHER 9 HOLE COURSE WAS DOUBLE TEES SO FIRST NINE YOU PLAYED OPFF ONE TEE THEN THE SECOND 9 WAS DIFFERENT TEE BUT SAME FAIRWAY AND HOLE-MIGHT BE SOMETHING TO CONSIDER SINCE ADDING 9 DIFFERENT TEES WOULD NOT BE A BIG EXPENSE BUT WOULD BE BETTER FOR THE GOLFERS
Little bit of a letdown
After having played many courses in Illinois this was a downgrade. The staff were extremely friendly which was a plus but I just do not see myself ever coming back here. Fairways are not distinguished from the rough in terms of grass height, tough shots from anywhere you are but the greens. Greens were not well maintained. The sand traps were pitiful to even call a sand trap. Pace of play was awful, seems to be overbooked. Playing 18 here is just playing the first 9 again, which means on your wrap around you wait for the people with tee times at the time you return, which greatly slows down pace of play after your first round. Ultimately, it was still a fun course and nice to try once, but I would not come back here to play again.
