Golfer Reviews
Made Some Nice Improvements
Very nice greens with the exception of #9. Nice stone yardage markers. Never felt pushed.
We had an enjoyable round.
Needs some work
This golf course has changed ownership several times. Several trees are dead and marked to be taken out. The clubhouse isn't open until 11. The new management is a work in progress. The course needs some TLC. Ground under repair hasn't been repaired. Some traps are full of weeds and no sand. The greens are not extremely bad but not good in all areas. Overall the fairways are good.
Not bad for the money
Despite seeing a earlier review which gave a different picture of this course, I found the course to be well maintained, especially the greens. It is not a difficult course but there are a few holes that make it challenging. The tee boxes and traps were better then I thought they would be. The off course amenities in term of the bar/restaurant offers a decent atmosphere and good food. I will definitely return to enjoy this course in the future.
This course is in better shape now than it's been in the last 4 years that I've played there
Trying to be more than it is
This used to be a great cheap practice course. It had long wide fairways no rough, lots of trees and it was quiet. They don't water the course at all so the greens and fairways are rock hard. They raised their prices and it's no longer worth it. It is now more expensive than high quality courses in the area like nettle creek, pine hills, heritage bluffs etc.. They also used to let juniors golf for free with a paying adult. This brought out a lot of families. They reversed that and charge $36for a junior. No other course in the area charges over 20 for a junior. I used to go regularly, I probably will not golf there again. It's now practice course with a country club rate.s
Reasturant does have good food.
Needs More Info
The course was good for what it was. It is a 9 hole course that the 2nd 9 hole tees are not well identified. Otherwise it was a nice day to play and the course was in pretty good condition. Greens were in great shape.
In the description it should state that it is a nine hole course. I would not have played it if I had known in advance.
