Above average for the money
Enjoyed the grass being short so we did not lose a ball greens were very good overall A+ course
Good value for the deal
The course needs some TLC but talking to the staff was told much improved since the new owner. I would recommend to anyone living in the immediate area to check it out. I drove almost 1 hour and would go back on a golf now deal. Very peaceful because it’s surrounded by corn fields.
Pleasantly surprised
You never know when reading reviews as to how accurately they describe the course. This is a diamond in the rough middle of farm land. The course was in excellent condition, from the tee boxes, to the fairways and the greens were immaculate. The only part that wasn’t in great shape was the bunkers, which I luckily didn’t have to play out of, but, had they been in better condition my ball would have stayed in them instead of bouncing or rolling out. Did not try the restaurant/bar, however we did walk through and have a look around and checked out the menu……both looked great and I am sure we would have been very satisfied if we would have had the time to stay and enjoy. There is also a hotel/motel to enjoy a stay and play package which I am looking forward to enjoying some time I. The future.
The Lakes in May
In the middle of nowhere this course does not disappoint. Play the Blues as the White tees are extremely short. Greens were in great shape. Keep in front if you don’t like 3 putting.
Good value. Early December but not bad. Greens need to roll better come spring
Done a good job so far getting this course back in shape after it was idle for a few years. Main concern is improving the quality of the grass and putt ability of the greens. Keep up the good work
