Rough
The traps are 85% weeds. T boxes are largely clover as are much of the fairways. Greens are patchy. What is truly remarkable is the scorecard. The par values for each hole don’t add up to the printed total par for the course - they add up to 75, not 73. Whats more, playing the back tees on the front involves a 295 yard par 3. But the clubhouse/ restaurant is nicely remodeled!
Could be better
Very dry fairways don’t water. Sand traps are the worst I’ve seen ever on a course some don’t even exist sonar it’s weeds. Very slow play hopefully this course can fix things up.
Not The Bourne
I didn’t realize it was only a 9 hole course or that it was closed for 4 years. I wouldn’t have booked 18 had I realized it’s only 9.
Good value
Good value for your money. This is a 9 hole course that is very golfer friendly to beginners. Fairways wide open with little to no hazards. Water only comes in play once. There are sand bunkers but not much sand in them. Greens are OK.
If your new to golf and just learning great course or if you want to work on you irons perfect place. We were not rushed and played at our own pace. Will go back
Great food!
The fact that this course was closed for several years and they are working on getting it back into shape, has to be taken into consideration. The fairways are nice, tee boxes are good. The greens still need some work though. Give it some time and I'm sure it will be a beautiful course again.
Good Value for 9/18 Holes
9 hole that you play twice, fairways are narrow... grass was long but assume that was due to all the rain... will give it a try again when it dries out. Good beginner course.
Nice and Easy
Great course for a beginner to get started with. Lots of room for mistakes without losing your balls. Course is relatively easy and very open. Beautiful trees but with wide fairways. Well maintained and well placed sand traps provide some challenge. Friendly staff and not crowded so you can play at a nice pace.
Fun course!
Course plays fast and fun. Wide fairways. Big greens. Great food at the clubhouse.
Great time
Nice wide open course... The gentleman working the clubhouse must be one of the nicest people ive ever met..if i lived closer i would go to this course all the time
A Decent Course !
Not much to this 9 hole course but the greens were in good shape. There is not a lot of trouble as they are filling up most of the bunkers. It needs more challenging holes . I believe there is only 1 dog leg on the entire course.
Made Some Nice Improvements
Very nice greens with the exception of #9. Nice stone yardage markers. Never felt pushed.
We had an enjoyable round.
