Great staff
The starter John was great. We talked a little before my round and at the end he remembered my name. Great guy. Give him a raise
Frost Delay?
Played a round of course and had a 10am tee time. Showed up and still had a frost delay. All tee times including 7am tee times were delayed. No email from course to at least give heads up of the delay. Tee times every 10 minutes so turned into a 5 1/2 hour 18 holes.
Cancelled
They cancelled my tee time as I was driving to to course.
They said it had been refunded but it wasn’t, so I not only drove most of the way there but paid to play as well.
Solid option with some opportunity to improve
For a winter round the course was in pretty good shape. While short, the course offers a fun challenge to a range of golfers with its shaped holes. Nice scenery throughout. Number 3 is wild. I do wish they would do something about the goose droppings small over the greens, seems like we were clearing turds for any putt over 10 feet.

Lovely day for a walk.
Cold but better than not playing. Course was in pretty good shape all thing considered.
Bad place!
Goose 💩 around the green everywhere and never clean the courses after beginning of November!
$18 for a cart rental seems a little bit much especially when nobody’s using them at this time of the year
Horrid
No range master, group that was 2 groups in front of us slowing everyone down. Nothing like pulling up to the tee box and having 2 groups there already. Course was in poor condition. Worst outing of the year and it's not even close.

Course operator here - Thanks for booking a round at Chick Evans - sorry it didn't work out and that we couldn't have given you more notice with such extensive rain. We called and emailed everyone directly Saturday and Sunday, doing the best we could to contact our golfers.
