Oak Brook Golf Club

Everything on the course was nearly perfect. All the roughs and fairways were cut nice and tight, greens rolled fast and true. The course was in excellent condition and the 10 minute tee time restriction really helped spread out the players and helped maintain a four hour pace of play.

The clubhouse was under construction but it looks like it will be nice when finished. The course was very wet but in good shape for the middle of March. We were able to play 18 in 3 hours, even with cart path only conditions. I’ve played hear several time and has a challenging layout for a short course.

Played on 12/26/19. Was glad to be able to get out during the last week of December in Illinois.Course was in decent shape considering the time of the year.and the fact that the season is basically over so some of the maintenance has stopped.

This course and facility are very nice. The staff was great and the layout is well thought out. I would recommend it for all levels. Pace of play was my only concern. Not real slow, but it may take 4-1/2 hours to play 18.

It was great to get out and play this late in October on a gorgeous day. I had digned up as a single and was paired up with 3 others that had played together before but that I did not know. They were very friendly and it was a very enjoyable time.

Course was in great shape after all the wet weather the last week or so. Most of the roughs were mowed back to normal height. The fairways were in excellent condition and mowed pretty tight. The greens were really fast and smooth. They were the fastest they've been all year and very fun and challenging to putt. The course is always in good condition but it was exceptional today. It was cool but bright and sunny with many picturesque views against the blue sky.

Overall conditions were excellent. Greens rolled true and quick but did show a little wear and tear from high traffic. Sand in bunkers was well maintained. Fairways and roughs were in good shape and cut to good length. Pace of play backed up on the front 9 from heavy holiday play but improved on back 9. It seemed the ranger could have prompted slower groups a little more.

THis was the first time I've played it and it was great. I'm glad I was golfing with a very knowledgeable man who pointed out the little pitfalls that you usually get into when you play for the first time blindly. The course is in excellent shape. The only thing that puzzled me was the speed of the greens as I'm used to a little faster greens and I left quite a few putts short.

Very challenging but beautiful course. Loved every bit of it. Love the natural grass practice grounds

Course is always in great shape.

We had a unexpected downpour that ended up causing us to get a refund. We finished 3 holes and would only give us 75% back in a course rain check. Short of what we paid.

Manager said the policy is pending on how many holes you played, 75%, 50% or 25%.. If anyone would have been on hole one you only get 75% back.

Just a little disappointed about the rain check otherwise highly recommend on a sunny day!
