Great course; poor signage
Fun course; great variety; just wish signage was better --- especially for the 10th hole. Unless you've played there before, how would you know that the 10th hole is across the street? There is a sign pointing to where the 10th hole is supposed to be but the sign is pointing to a little cart parking lot next to the snack bar. Also, play was really slow on the back 9 --- c'mon rangers.
Slow play
The course is great course, however the tee times are only 8 minutes apart. We waited on every hole. Couldn't finish the round because of darkness. The round was over 5 hours before we stopped.
So consistent
Played here 4 years ago regularly with my son . We played a fair amount until I moved out of town. Came back and played with the same crew. So impressed with the remodel of the clubhouse. Staff just as accommodating and friendly as years ago. Fun day!!
Pricey
Used to be a very good value but for a public course they've really are at the high end.
Great afternoon round
Played a 340pm on a Friday play was moving nicely. Course condition was good. Staff in pro shop and club house were great! Food in restaurant is fantastic!
Great spot
Loved this course. Beautiful condition. Pretty tough greens. Great value for the money. I’m excited to come back here again
Oakbrook GC
The Oakbrook Golf coirse is a good course. The front nine is challenging with water on several holes. The back nine is more difficult with tight fairways . A lot of water and a very tough par 5 the 13th hole.
The pace of play isn’t very good took 5 hours to play 1& holes and 2:45 on the back nine.
Decent Course
Played the front 9. Starts Par 5, Par 3, Par 5 and then the Par 4s require irons off the tee. Short course. Rain cut it short and only played through 7. I think it's too pricey for the experience. Plenty of options in the area to play for less.
