Course is incredibly well kept
The staff is incredibly helpful and the course layout is fantastic. Very clean facilities at a great price.

SilverLakes Pace of Play
Saturday I played at Silver Lakes and the pace of play was disgraceful. It took 2 and 3/4 hours to play 7 holes. The starter left a group of 3 foursomes who were playing a mini scramble out together.
At the first par 3 all 12 teed off together and again at the 7th.
A ranger came to us and we explained that they had lost a full hole in the first 3. Once he heard this he took of "the opposite in the opposite direction".
I have been playing at this place for 20 years as a regular Sunday morning member, this is the second time this has happened.
I understand people having fun but let's be fair to people who want to play golf the right way and not hold people up.
Needless to say I am done there it has gone way down hill since BC left.

Fair Round
Everything was great besides the league in front of us who played extremely slow. Tee'd off on a Sunday at 11am, played the first 7 fine. Once we hit hole 8, it was a 20 minute wait at every tee box until we finished. Round took about 5.5 hours. Might be some peoples idea of fun, but not mine.

early sunday
Booked a 3some for early Sunday morning -got to course said they paired a single with us -got to starter & the 4th didn't arrive -so starter said he had just sent a5some out & would go hold one of them to join us -OK -but we were in carts & he was walking but we noticed there was 2some behind us also walking -so he joined them and all was great-nice course-great pace-great 19th hole-overall lot of fun

Pace of play was unbearable. Foursome two holes ahead of us was hitting two balls for each player. Saw a ranger out near us and that foursome at least 3 times and he did not appear to say anything to hurry them up. Course is supposedly being sold this year, if that’s the case and nobody clearly cares anymore then they need to lower their rates. Awful day of golf, thanks for nothing.

Covid Excuses
It’s a nice course, but poorly maintained and the excuse is Covid. It’s outdoors and course should be in better condition. None of concession stands open costing them needed revenue.

Slow play
Not sure what happened but many holes in which 3 to 4 foursomes backed up on hole. Rangers did not solve the bottleneck.

Terrible rangers
There was a 4 group pile up on 8/9 and continued through the back 9! I took time to track down a ranger to tell him to do his job, and what do you know, They're incompetent. You want people to come back & be returning patrons?..MAKE YOUR RANGERS DO THEIR JOB!
Its a shame that pace of play is still an issue when everyone who works at golf facility knows that’s the number one deterrent from returning!!!

Conditions: Good for April. Tee boxes ok, bunkers inconsistent, greens were great this day.
Pace: It's gonna take 4:30 to 5 hours on the weekend.
