A favorite, but...
I've been playing here since 1975. Great course. Today, however, was a little disappointed in the shape of the greens. Looks like they had been verti-cut and were not as smooth as they could have been. Also, a few of the greens had some dead spots.
Enjoyable outing
Tee boxes fairways and greens in great condition. I've played a dozen courses this season and this is the only course that has well maintained bunkers with playable sand. Great staff and beverage cart on a Thursday was a plus. Great practice facilities positioned near the first tee. Several challenging holes.
Bad experience
Rude staff... we got there a couple of minutes late and the check in guy made a big deal... refused to let us start and tried to charge us additional fee. It was like if he had a vendetta with us... all this happened after one and half hour drive from Chicago... after all that , we didn’t get to play because of a pity guy... pretty much ruined our Sunday. It was a big mistake choosing this place.
Great course for the money
This is one of my favorite courses in the western burbs. I’ve played here many times and it’s always a lot of fun. There are many interesting holes and it’s always in great shape. Pace of play was good even on a weekend. The restaurant is excellent as well. Highly recommend.
First time was a great time
The course was in excellent condition, and the course management was great. I appreciate that the pace of play was well managed to avoid the typical jam ups by slower players that can drag out your round when there are many players enjoying a round of golf. Looking forward to my next visit to Fox Bend.

Enjoyable outing
teeboxes, fairways and greens in great condition. Finished as 3some in 3hr 30 minutes. Entire course we'll "manicured". great staff. will be back soon
Fox bend
Light sporadic rain didn’t impact play but wind could. Course is in great shape tee to green. Rough is a little under ball height and very thick but balls are findable. Greens held approach shots. For a Tuesday, pin positions had us scratching our heads. Looking forward to playing there again despite being an hour away. Staff is very friendly. Ranger was around course frequently keeping things moving.

Very nice course in very good condition. Greens are very large with a lot of breaks, so stay below the pin.

the day was perfect except for the fact that the round took 5 hours. this to me is not golf, never did we see a ranger on the course the whole time
Very Enjoyable course
Enjoyable course. It was a great Condition. Very fair layout and greens were very well-maintained. Definitely worth the money. Very reasonably priced
