Golfer Reviews
Nice little course. Hard to review during this time, but it was nice to get out.
Decent Course
Hard to judge due to recently opening up and a very soggy course due to rain the day before. Tee boxes were OK but greens were good. In between was messy with high rough and wet fairways. I'm sure with a little more time to work on conditions and drier weather, course will be just fine. Good option for a quick challenging nine.
Course Review
The course is a mass, pot hole every where. NO sign on which hole you are playing, no distance and hole information. Even though the price is good, we will never play there again.
Didn’t even follow the current Covid policies and weren’t shy to tell us they weren’t following the rules...just firing groups of as fast as possible. I play courses like this with my beginner golfer girlfriend but hate when a course is not operated properly.
Fairway conditions were poor on multiple holes, lots of water. Rough was very long. Lots of rain recently so grace given there. I’d rather spend $10 more for a much better play. Very inexpensive, and you get what you pay for, as they say.
Retains a goid deal of water
This is a very walkable 9 hole course, either with a pull cart or a carry bag. It's a municipal course, with not too challenging a layout, although the blue and white tees force a carry over the water on 9. The yellow and red do not. The greens are fairly easy.
It holds a great deal of water on the lower fairways after heavy rainfall. Maintained well enough, and a good value for anyone wanting to get outdoors now. No on course amenities due to COVID-19.
Swamp
This course has the worst drainage capacity of any course that I have played. Yes we've had a lot of rain this month, but even with average rainfall this course is still mushy a week after rain.
Good condition, well maintained.
Nice conditions, well taken care of. I always see ground crew out there every time I play. Fast pace, friendly staff, what more do you want.
Enjoyable, and easy to get on.
I've played here plenty of times over the years. Today was the best the course has ever been in. New sand added to bunkers. Course tends to hold water in places, but is always green, fairways are always mowed, greens are well kept, but golfers need to exercise ball repair marks, and not drag their feet across greens. I like this place for a nice practice or warmup place.
Nice local place.
You get what you pay for here. Nice place, friendly, inexpensive, and typically a quick round for 9 holes. Could use some work on the bunkers. Greens in good shape, fairways are nice and well kept. The only thing better for the money would be if golfers could be more considerate repairing ball marks on greens, and replacing divots.
Nice course
Quite a few sand traps that may have just been updated
Make sure you play fast!
My 15-year-old son and I played at 7:10 a.m. after we found it the night before on GolfNow. For only $10 we thought we'd give it a shot. It was what we expected for the money. Staff was friendly, course was pretty easy, which was good because we are both novice golfers. Had a couple in their 60s behind us. Met them at the 2nd or 3rd hole. No big deal. Until the 6th. I guess we weren't playing fast enough. When we were setting up our second shots, he yelled "C'MON LET'S GO" FROM THE TEE BOX. Totally disrespectful. My son told me to take it easy and let them play through. We did without incident and I told the attendant of the issue. I guess they play their semi-regularly, so beware. Maybe if you go later in the morning you can avoid them. I would recommend the course with the caveat mentioned above.
