Not worth it
I took my dad out for a round for Father's Day, and was joined with my best friend and his brother. We were paired behind a group that included two people clearly new to golf, and we were left waiting behind them on the tee box for at least 5 minutes each hole. At no time did a course marshal drive by and tell them to pick up the pace of play, or let us play through.
For the price we paid, the length of the course, and the management of the facilities, I recommend taking the time to drive out to the NW or western suburbs to play a round out there.
Do not play
Thought I was playing a full 18 holes. I paid 27 for 9 holes, wow! This course is only 9 holes and it's nothing special. For spending 27 dollars you will feel like you wasted your money. It's worth about 10 dollars. I would have rather played meadows in blue island which is full 18 and roughly 25$ on golf now plus way better course. I recommend finding another course unless these guys drop their prices to around 10-15 for a full 18 which allows you to go around their 9 holes 2 times. Waste of money!
Great 9 hole course
This is a nice course nestled away from the beaten path. The course is both challenging and forgiving, based on which hole you are on. There are many trees lined along most holes and a stream that cuts the 2nd and 9th hole which create a blind shot. Great value for the money, EXCEPT the cart fees at $10 per person. Most walk anyway. Pace of play is usually good and the ranger will come around every once in awhile. No Beverage cart, but alcohol and other drinks available and club house.
Nice layout
I had not played this course for a number of years and forgot how much of a challenge it can be, nice track
