About
University Park Golf Club (formerly known as University Golf Club & Conference Center) boasts one of the most popular championship courses in the Chicagoland area. The golf course has been a local favorite since it first opened in 1962. The original design by Lawrence Packard received an update in 2004 by Greg Martin, but the classic character of the layout still remains. The course wanders across gentle rolling terrain, providing elevated tees and undulating fairways. Water hazards come into play on half the holes, including on the 17th, University Park Golf Club's signature hole. This intimidating par 3 requires a tough carry over water to an elevated green. Miss it and you'll be faced with the nearly impossible task of getting up and down. The difficulty doesn't let up with the final hole, an uphill dogleg par 4 with a sloped, elevated green and water on the right.

It’s Almost Back!
Proofs to the staff for the work they’ve put in to make UP the south suburban gem it used to be. They are investing a lot in the course and it shows.
It's been awhile since I played UP
I haven't played at UP in a few years...1 180 degrees difference. Staff was friendly and helpful. The greens were kept up. I enjoyed playing here.
Pleasantly Surprised
Course is in way better shape than on previous years. Greens were recently punched, but it didn’t mess with putting much. I will definitely be back here again
REFRESHED and Impressed
found out they just reopen after 2 years of closure, brought in a new management team and they done a amazing job. this place has so much potential in the coming years! i look forward to see the growth!
People behind were terrible
Course was excellent staff was amazing only bad thing I can say is Me and 3 guys played best ball because the course was so busy.. Most holes we spent less then 10 mins on with a group of 4 and the people behind called the club house 4 different times rushed our entire round we spent same amount of money on the round as they did and made us rush through the entire thing also the guys behind us hit directly into us when we weren’t on the green and hit my friend in the leg. Great course but terrible crowd.
Hidden gem
This was our second time at this course. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The course is well maintained with some challenging par 5’s. We did have a slower group ahead of us but were able to play through. We also enjoyed their food.
