Idk if mowers broke
Some holes there was a minimal cut difference between the fairway & rough. The rough was also very thick & hard to find balls as well as hit out of. Also scheduled tee times we had a tee waiting at the tee box when they were scheduled to play 12 minutes after us. Then we let them play through but the next team was just a twosome & almost hit me once & then hit our cart on a different hole. & neither time was a Fore called.

We played behind a 5 some that played decent, but they were all walking and with the 3 of us riding we had to wait on most every hole.
Great deal
Challenging, but enjoyable course. Tree lined, but not really long. Will definitely play again.

I did have a problem when I tried to check in! They said that it didn’t show that I had paid for my golf, which I did pay for on Golf Now. I had a credit and used it! Not sure why that happened!!! It was a tee time for 2 and was $47.98.
Nice public course.
I love the layout of this course. It provides a wide variety of challenges, including lots of tree, water, hills, and slight doglegs. The course was in good condition despite receiving 2.5 inches of rain the day before. The friendly staff make you feel welcome.

At this price it’s hard to pass up. Course was in great shape and a challenge for all levels.
Wet but fun
The course was really soggy from weeks of steady rain but the overall challenge was good. You can leave the driver in the bag for the most part as many of the par 4’s are around 400 with many bends. Greens are small with opportunities for tough pin placements.
Fun round great conditions!
First visit to Springfield and was impressed! The course is in great shape, fairway to green. Staff is friendly and they have everything you need sans a driving range. I would have like to hit a few before my round, but I can live with that. It's a shot making course with many of the par 4's needing less than a driver. Tree lined and tight. The greens are phenomenal, roll true and are fast. MUST be beneath the pin, some brutal pin positions today! Tough little course but lot's of fun. 13 handicap from the white tees.
