Great course, excellent value
Obviously, this course plays shorter than most, but the starter was very friendly. I checked in online. Pace of play was excellent. There were some wet spots, but it was expected with the rain. Overall, course was in great condition.
Tee boxes aren't flat
Biggest issue I noticed was many of the tee boxes weren't flat. They were rounded so we were teeing off on uneven surfaces.
Very nice par 70
Shorter course, par 70, under 6,000 yards. If you are looking for a "championship" course this isn't it. But if you are looking for a fun and interesting course with a couple challenging holes, this is the place. Normally in very nice condition. Greens were terrific today. Friendly people, driving range, etc. Very much recommended for the beginner, recreational and senior golfer. Great to work on your game for the low handicappers.
Fun course
This course is a little shorter overall then most. But you will use most of the clubs in your bag for a fun round. Enjoy playing here several time a year.

There is white sand available at Wedron Silica
Ottawa Silica or Manley sand in Troy grove which will not pack. It drains well.
You have been a buying a cheap sand which does not drain & it packs.
I suggest you fill them in or purchase sand from the St Peters seam. Every grain is round.
