Great course and great value
The only thing stopping me from giving the course 5 stars across the board is some of the sand traps need work. Otherwise it’s a great place to play and I’ll be back.
Great day for golf
Great weather and conditions. Hole in one on number 8.
Slow play
Played there three times. Twice got stuck behind slow players. First slow time the players would not let us through. Second time the ranger had to make them let us through. Otherwise the place is great.
Deer Creek
First time there and it was a good value for a weekend. The fairways and greens were in good shape. The only downside was the condition of the bunkers. They are in need of much attention. Pretty open layout, so great for higher handicappers. Just remember to yell FORE. Will definitely play it again.
Needs tlc
Surprisingly, the fairways were not as pristine as last year. Also, the bunker sand was horrible in most of them. Some even had weeds growing. Hopefully this gets the attention that is needed. The layout is really challenging so, conditions need to improve. Greens were ok for this time of year.
challenging enough for anyone
One issue is some bunkers were perfect and others were horrible. I wish they would all be the same. It's hard to play out of hardpan bunkers !!

Slow pace of play
Course was in good shape this early. Only issue was a slow foursome in front of us. Waited on every hole after 7. Ranger drove by multiple times and did not speak to slow group. It was a chilly weekday round that should of been 3 hours or less and it took over 4.5 hours due to marathon back nine waits.
Very average course. Nothing memorable about the course. Tee boxes need work.

Everything about the course was excellent. The main thing I was amazed with was the shape the course was in. Fairways, greens, tee boxes, rough where all consisted throughout the whole course. I've played a lot of courses where the first couple of holes have the consistency of this course. Then the rest of the holes go down hill with the quality of upkeep. Truly amazed with Deer Creek. You don't get to hit off of quality fairways at many places like this. Great job to the staff. All around grade A place to play. Hidden gem.
