Southside gem
Course was in good shape. Greens rolled good, but had ball marks on most of them. Bunkers were not being raked, and many divots were not repaired on the fairways. Still a great course to play at.
South side gem
Deer Creek is always in great shape. The course is challenging, and has it's fair share of water and sand hazards, which make you plan the safest route to the greens. The only problem I see is people aren't fixing their ball marks on the greens. It only takes a few seconds to repair your marks . Still, a great place to play. Pace is good. And the staff are friendly.
Great Suburban gem
The course was in good shape. Greens were rolling good, but had many unrepaired ball marks. I guess some people don't think they're responsible for fixing their ball marks, but I'm sure they will complain when there is a ball mark in their line on the green. Just takes a few seconds to fix them. There were a few people on the course who need to learn golf etiquette. Still was a good day on the course.
Local course
Pace of play was good. Greens were rolling good. Overall, had a good round.
Hard to top
I’m honestly shocked at the amount I paid to play this course vs how well they keep the entire club. The greens are so well kept that it’s the first time I have played with actual speed. The course layout is amazing and the staff is 100! The pace of play was so good I was able to play a whole 18 in 3 hours.
Local course
Deer Creek never disappoints me when I play the course. The fairways are in great shape, the greens roll at a good pace ( aside from people not fixing their ball marks). The traps around the greens are in better shape with adequate sand in them.
Solid Burbs Course
This was my first time playing this course and I can say I would play it again. It was not very difficult and fairly short, however the course was kept in good condition and the greens provided some challenge. There was a good mix of water, doglegs, bunkers, and tree obstacles. All things considered it was an enjoyable round. The rates are a little overpriced but just by a bit.
Do not rent clubs
The course was top of the line just beautiful the fairways and greens 😍 was on point. The only problem was I rented some clubs and they were something from the early 80's just old. I still shot 83. Then they only had a left handed putter but I am right handed still shot 83 😆 lol. I had fun.
Best value in the south suburbs. Fair and challenging at the same time. The sand traps need upgrading, greens are true and fast. Been playing this course since it’s opening in 1972. Still one of my favorites
