Good pace, nice course, kept up well
Hot humid day but a nice breeze and enough clouds to keep it manageable. Course has been kept up pretty well. Not up there with the pricey upscale courses but very much worth the money. Our twosome moved right along even with a four and a three in front of us. No real complaints. Teed off at noon and finished around 3:45. Good $3.50 hot dog at the turn. Very worthwhile course.
Good course and well maintained.
Course was in great shape as well as the greens. Course was not crowded and we were never backed up or pushed.. Deer Creek is a good value for the money. Have played it several times and will continue to do so.
Need a ranger on the weekend, I did not start on time

South side gem
Aside from the tee boxes being a little shaggy, the course was in good shape. The greens were rolling good, and only saw a few unrepaired ball marks (which I fixed). Most of the traps appear to have new sand in them. Aside from my problems hitting accurate shots, it was a good day on the course. Pace of play was good.
Well Kept
This is a great, well kept course with scenic views. I enjoyed my first time there. Very friendly staff.

Course was in best condition that I’ve ever played it. Greens were fast but fair. Enjoyable round on a Saturday afternoon
Good times at Deer Creek
Had a great time with the guys golfing at Deer Creek. The greens were receptive to good shots and had a consistent roll throughout the 18 holes. Fairways were just firm enough to where you got a nice amount of roll. My only complaint would be the pin placements. Golf courses need to realize it’s the Birdies and Pars that make golfer come back and play your course again. It was at least 7 pins that were put right on a slope and near the edge. GOLFERS DONT PAY MONEY TO BE EMBARRASSED BECAUSE THE GUY PLACING THE PINS DECIDES TO BE A JERK. Other than that awesome course and a good time.

Good place to play - nice layout- friendly people working - course you can score at. Fast greens
Excellent Greens!
Being early in the year we always run across shaggy greens in the Chicago region. These greens were in perfect condition and were running fast! Fast perfect greens always outweigh the condition of the rest of the course.
