The course was in nice shape, except for the bunkers. But that is expected for Nov, 19th
Course was in good shape. Greens very good and true roll. Bunkers not maintained ,but it's November 19th. So they get a pass. The winds were steady at 27 mph, gusting to 40. So I need to return for a true round of golf.
Beautiful Day for Golf
December 9 and golfing in Chicago suburbs? An unusually warm day, but windy. Cannot complain, but the course was in great shape. The pace was affected by the the number of golfers wanting to take advantage of the warm November weather..
Great course
This course has always been in great shape. It's well maintained, and the people are always courteous and helpful.
South side gem
Course is in great shape. The greens are rolling good. Fairways are well manicured.
Great Deal!
They could use a starter and someone to
Monitor play. Took almost 5 hours to play 18.
Outstanding tee boxes, great greens. Lots of sand, which could be tilled a little more frequently.
Not bad for the price
Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The course was in pretty good condition for a 25 dollar round. Not extremely difficult but not too straight forward either. The Greens were freshly aerated so that was a little frustrating. I played as a twosome with a buddy and seemed to be waiting AT LEAST 5 minutes for the group ahead of us to analyze each putt. It made it very hard to find a rhythm. A single behind us called the club house and the ranger came by to check on us and we were told they were backed up on the whole course but we didn't once see a group in front of the meticulous putters.
Nice Course, Terrible Pace
Have attempted to play this course 3 times, all within 4+ hours of it getting dark, and have yet to complete 18 holes!
The pace seems to always be bad! Their many “senior” leagues combined with overbooking always results in a log-jam at the tees.
Course shape, layout and price are all great but...
