Best Course in the South Suburbs for the money
By far the best 3 and challenging 3 hole finish in Chicago area. Best value hands down. Beats a lot of course that cost more.
Great shape and round
Greens were immaculate and pin placement was challenging. Fairways were great except 2 holes which were almost too soft given the rain. Ranger did a great job making sure pace of play kept up. Very happy I played here.
Underrated course
Great value. Course was wet with all the rain but very playable.
Nothing special
The course is fine, but having played other courses nearby recently (Balmoral and Tuckaway) this course didn't stand out. It is mostly flat. It was in decent condition. The greens were fine. I just was unmemorable. Great value for weekend but I won't be back.
Nice course
Nice course with some interesting holes. I like that they are almost always open and price is reasonable.
Good length, good fairways very nice greens. Pretty flat makes for an easy walk in these times. Good course to visit a few times a year.
Great shape for winter!
Course was in great shape for winter. 3.5 hours for 18 holes. My only complaint is that too many golfers do not replace their divots. It's not that hard and makes the course look much better.
Under new management
For a winter day, the course was in good shape. The greens were slow compared to previous rounds. Greens were hard under top layer grass. There were way too many ball marks on the greens. People weren't even attempting to fix their ball marks. Still, not a bad day on the links.
Great time, under rated awesome course!
Deceptively difficult and beautiful layouts. Some tight landings off your drives and even if your on the green putting for birdie, you’ll still be happy if you walk off with a par hah!
Worst pace of play EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst pace of play ever! 3 hours for 9 holes! Ridiculous! Especially on a Tuesday. I actually timed the group ahead of me on a hole.... 18 minutes. Couldn’t even play a full 18 cause I didn’t anticipate a 6 hour round.Started at 11:30, finished #9 @ 2:40. Just plain ridiculous
South side gem
Course is in great shape as usual. Always a great time golfing there.
Decent above average course
Course in pretty good condition - fairways, tees, greens all nice. Only sand traps need work - as do a lot of courses’ sand this time of year. We applied a “free drop behind the trap” rule for our round. Decent 4 hr pace for our foursome. Breezy sunny cool late August day. Good $5 “at the turn” lunch special. This is a nicer course with some better hole layouts and challenges, but nothing overly tough.
Great Value
Always enjoy playing Deer Creek. Course was in great shape other than being soggy from rain the previous night. Greens were excellent. Will be back.
