Best for Course around for the Value
You can not play a better course for the value anywhere in 50 miles. They have a friendly staff and the course drains well after rain. They have the best and hardest 3 hole finish in the area. The 16rh hole is very challenging, your gonna wanna stay left but not too far left where you could hit it out of bounce. Just left if the water but right of the bunker, to give yourself a chance on this hole. Stay after at the 19th hole and you will be treated right.
Course needs Management
I played twilight golf here on August 9th with my son. It was the worst pace of play in my 50 year golf career. They have a ranger so bad out there he should pay them to work there. The group that was so slow in front of us was his friends and he did nothing to speed up the pace of play. This is the reason why golfers don’t want to play the game anymore. This is by the worse ran golf course in all of Chicagoland. Don’t waist your money on this course you will be extremely disappointed. If I could rate this course at a negative number I would.
Great value course
Played on a very hot Sunday. There weren't any water coolers posted along the course due to the high levels of lead in the water in University Park. The golf course did a great job of handing out free bottled water on the course. That's great customer service. This course is always busy and play can move a little slow. Things especially get backed up on the first two par 3's. Course was in good shape except some sun baked dirt bunkers. Can't beat the value of this course. Beer and food are also cheap.
Above Par
This course is typically maintained well throughout the whole year, greens and fairways are better than average, bunkers arent the best but with all the rain have been washed up this year. All throughout the course offers a decent challenge from beginners to moderate players.
South side gem
This course has weathered the recent rains and is in great shape. Always a pleasure to play here. Great staff.

This course is in excellent condition, fairways and greens, staff was very friendly and accommodating, had a great day.

Please people you can play bad golf in under four hours get your head on right and move along
A decent course
The greens were great the tea boxes were good the fairways were just the sand bunkers suck
Good value golfing
Good condition considering all the rain although I didn’t finish my round due to a downpour at the 13th hole.
