About
Mystic Oak Golf Course in Waterloo has a diverse layout that seems to play a little differently each time you're on it. The layout features long, winding fairways and gently sloping greens, which are framed by a slew of strategically placed bunkers. There are also many water hazards that come into play throughout the golf course. The gently rolling terrain has subtle ups and downs that provide tricky uneven lies. The back nine is uniquely divided into three par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each. The golf course will test your short-game skills but the lengthy par 5s offer driving opportunities for long hitters as well. Mystic Oak Golf Course is player friendly enough for a wide range of skill levels but you may be surprised to find yourself using all the clubs in your bag.

Mystic oaks
The day we played was cold (40s), some wind, Cart path only. Good carts, putting practice green, turf was soft, zoysia fairways haven’t greened yet, the greens were pretty good based on March, good value for the fee.
Great for the price
Marshall drove by several times and did nothing to help unclog the backup. Had to skip last few holes due to very very slow play. Pro shop lady was delightful
Mystic Oaks
The clubhouse is recovering from a fire , previously the food was good, and a comfortable atmosphere. The clubhouse is almost finished. The course has a variety of holes from simple to a couple that are almost unfair. Controlling your tee shot is imperative. If you can do that on the tough holes then you can score. The cost is fair for what you get.
Mystic Oaks
Great condition for winter play.
Greens in great shape Enjoyed playing!
Zero regard for tee times
Let two groups play in front of our tee time. Way to many players on course, allowed multiple 5 somes in front and back of us. Waited at tee box almost every hole with another group. Took 6hrs to play 18 holes
Angry front desk
The past two times I’ve played mystic oak the old lady in the clubhouse is extremely rude. We played late November in 40 degree weather. Yelled at me to get off the putting green that was NOT frozen whatsoever after a 3 hour delay because of frozen greens. Wasted a day off of work for her to have us sit around for 3 hours just to tell us we are waisting our time and made us leave the course.
Nice Course
Great course to play. Several challenging holes. Fairways were in good shape and the greens were in great shape considering it's early December. If you are looking for a challenge give it a try.
Challenging Course
We played on a very windy day (16mph) which made this course even more challenging than normal. Lot of different challenging holes such as water hazards, steep slopes/grades and blind shots. Tee boxes are showing lots of wear but the majority of the fairways and greens are in pretty good shape considering the time of year. I recommend this course especially with someone who knows the layout.
