Mystic Oak Golf Course in Waterloo has a diverse layout that seems to play a little differently each time you're on it. The layout features long, winding fairways and gently sloping greens, which are framed by a slew of strategically placed bunkers. There are also many water hazards that come into play throughout the golf course. The gently rolling terrain has subtle ups and downs that provide tricky uneven lies. The back nine is uniquely divided into three par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each. The golf course will test your short-game skills but the lengthy par 5s offer driving opportunities for long hitters as well. Mystic Oak Golf Course is player friendly enough for a wide range of skill levels but you may be surprised to find yourself using all the clubs in your bag.

First time player
I made a tee time here at the suggestion of a fellow golfer on a prior round. Interesting and challenging layout on a few holes, The only complaint would be a few of the tee boxes were a bit beat up and many were hard as a rock - trouble getting the tee in the ground. But the greens were nice (but slow) and the fairways in great condition. Tricky in spots, due to the water and some blind shots, but will know better next time I play here.
There was a tournament going on, not even a single parking spot open, had to go play somewhere else, how come you didn't know about it?
Simple yet effective
Good blend of par 3, 4, and 4’t. Course in good shape and prices extremely affordable and friendly staff

This is the best course I have ever played on. I am new to golf, but this place was very well maintained. I played my best golf today, here. If only my putting was a little better. I am at the trying new courses stage, but will definitely have this course in the memory bank to be back. I didn't eat, but the bbq smoker was sure smelled really good as well finishing on 18.

Some tee boxes and fairways are REALLY shot, but the greens are in good shape and roll true.
Enjoyable
First off, nothing to do with the course personnel. People, fix your ball marks. You can’t be that lazy or stupid! Overall we had a great round. The course was in good shape, a bit of grass clumps in the recently mowed fairways but nothing a foot wedge couldn’t remedy. Clean, newer carts that ran well. Yardage markers were close to exact distances. The price was the best, a buck a hole. Fantastic! We’ll be back. Thanks!
Golf fun. Food manager not so much
Golf course was fun. Staff friendly. However after the round we had dinner. The restaurant owner was very rude. Not only to us but another
Couple So much so that I will never eat there again. I do not have to be talked down to.
The server did a good job but she seemed to be stressed by the (restaurant owner).
So, WEmay play there again but will find somewhere else to eat.
Mystic Saturday
Overall pretty good condition. Some fairways and tee boxes still need some work but the improvements done to date are really great and it seems to be a positive trend.
Good value for your buck
Good layout, very difficult par 5s, above average par 3s, greens will hold a good iron. Probably harder than it course rating would indicate...especially from the Blue tees.
Above average food in the clubhouse served by a very cordial staff!
