Mystic Oak Golf Course in Waterloo has a diverse layout that seems to play a little differently each time you're on it. The layout features long, winding fairways and gently sloping greens, which are framed by a slew of strategically placed bunkers. There are also many water hazards that come into play throughout the golf course. The gently rolling terrain has subtle ups and downs that provide tricky uneven lies. The back nine is uniquely divided into three par 3s, par 4s, and par 5s each. The golf course will test your short-game skills but the lengthy par 5s offer driving opportunities for long hitters as well. Mystic Oak Golf Course is player friendly enough for a wide range of skill levels but you may be surprised to find yourself using all the clubs in your bag.

Nice course!
For the time of year course was in good shape.
Club house is still being worked on so not much there.
Very disappointed
We typically play here about 10 times a season. This was our first time back since the club house burned down. We got to hole 7 and the wind and cold was just unbearable. We decided to finish up the front 9 and get a voucher for the back 9. It was far too cold and windy to finish. We were told there was nothing they could do about a voucher for the back 9. The guy stated he was new to this and that they normally charge $20 for 9 holes and we payed $25 for 18… we’ve never had this issue before. I think it’s ridiculous to pay full price for 9 holes? Why wouldn’t we get discounted half of what we payed? We won’t be back after this. There are plenty of beautiful courses in waterloo that will continue to get our business. What a shame.
Nice course for the value.
Challenging holes especially the Par 3s and 5s enjoyed with my son will be back there soon .
Overall conditions were above par!
Considering we are in the first week of March here in Illinois the conditions were not terrible considering all the snow we've had just melted this past Sunday. Things were somewhat soggy here and there and a few greens played slower than usual, but for $18.00 we aren't complaining! Hopefully the clubhouse rebuild gets underway soon; we miss the bar-b-que! we'll be back, again and again.
FIRE!
Enjoy playing here. Not a very long course but laid out nicely and overall kept up pretty well. Too bad about the fire. Last time it was the golf carts, this time the clubhouse.
