Hot game in Wilmette
Beautiful weather, but extremely hot day.
Facility is great, range and putting area are perfect to warm-up.
The course design is interesting and not over challenging, even though you will face trees, water and bunkers, including fairway ones.
The fairways' cut could have been better as the grass was a bit long in many areas. The rough is probably the greatest challenge. Do not trust its look, it is dense and you have to have a good ball contact to get out of it.

Old Traditional Course
They hit us for an extra 20 per person for riding in a cart.
Nice old course with mature greens and big trees. To many of the holes are not memorable.

Fun but not a friendly environment
I had fun playing but I couldn’t understand why the pro shop wasn’t open at 5:30 am yet!!! I had a 6:10 tee time and really wanted to hit a few balls first. With more than enough time to do so there was no staff to be found. The lights were off in the clubhouse I couldn’t get a cart and I was disappointed. I’m disabled and walking to and from the range is enough to hurt me too much that I can’t play anymore. We did have a good time once we finally got onto the course. The greens were lightning fast, almost too fast. But the fairways were perfect.

I expected slow play on a Saturday afternoon. Front nine 2 hours. Back 9 a little longer.
Course is in great condition. Carts are equipped with yardage and hole layouts.

Pretty good
Full Fathers Day golf course. Pace pretty good though. Staff did some effective pairings to have 3 to 4 players for each T time, Course is in good condition. Pin placements challenging. 14th hole fairway much! Improved. Rough could be challenging but is fair. Am a local so I’ll be back
