Great course, good time!
Course was in pretty good condition, the fringe around the greens could be a little more kept up, tees were great, greens were good a little slow which surprised me. Staff was awesome as always. The ranger seemed to be finished for the day when I teed off at 3:30, which was too bad. Pace of play really got backed up on the back 9. The restaurant is such a great option post round.
Terrible course they let this go to trashville
Fairways are awful, sand is terrible, never used to be this way. Don’t waste your money, much better courses around for much better value. Stay away, terrible conditions.
Fast Pace on a Sunday!!
Not only did we have a perfect weather day, but this was also the fastest I've ever played the course on a weekend. When we finished, the GPS showed us 18 minutes ahead. Never had to wait to tee off on any hole and we had no groups playing behind us.

Fairways are in poor shape. They should reseed.
Otherwise, greens and tees are ok.
Rates are too high for the conditions.

Wilmette is Struggling
I used to play Wilmette GC several times a year for about five years. During this time, WGC made some “improvements” including adding literally tons of asphalt to the cart paths while struggling to keep their fairways in decent shape. Their greens have always been inconsistent and conditions varied from green to green. Unfortunately, in the few years since I last played WGC, the conditions of both the fairways and greens have worsened. Several fairways are under repair and the greens looked like they hadn’t been attended to in the week before my round. I once would’ve recommended this course, but the level has fallen so far that I’d rather play at any number of better courses in the area.

Great shape
Greens and fairways are in great shape. Bunkers as well. Good pace of play for a Saturday. 4.5 hrs. The rangers were active moving groups along which was very helpful.

Good value
Nice course. Greens were really fast/hard and the bunkers could use some fresh sand. Amenities and carts are great for the price point, nice guy working the proshop too.

Great Shape
The course is in great shape despite the heavy rains earlier. The GPS was glitchy on a few holes but it eventually was corrected. Amenities here are very good.

Wilmette review
Club house and facilities are very nice. Course was very busy on the day I played, but we still were able to finish in just over four hours, so the pace was good for as full as it was. Greens were fast and rough was deep. All in all a very nice experience

The course is always well-maintained and the golf carts have GPS which is a big plus.
