Horrible
One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, anywhere. The course was not busy at all but was continually harassed by the golf rangers to hurry up when we were maybe 5 minutes behind.
The course conditions are horrendous. There has to be zero upkeep on the fairways or the rough. If you happened to hit your ball in the rough, good luck finding it. Fairways are like concrete and riding in a cart, that might have been from Caddyshack, felt like it was going to break down on every bump.

Really gone down hill
The pace of play here is atrocious. The range masters are rude and out of touch. We started 10-15min after our tee time the course was so backed up, and the group in front of us was slow. The group behind us complained, even though we were sandwiched. The ranger made us let them play through in the middle of of the fairway “because he knew them”, even though I explained to him we couldn’t go any faster. Suffice to say we sat on that groups heels the WHOLE time because the group in front was the issue, like I had explained. On top of all that, the starter ranger made a sexist comment to my partner. I used to play this course a few times a year, now it will be 0. There are MUCH better courses in the northshore for far better value, go play Glencoe or Highland Park.

So-so at best
Find me a bumpier course, cart path or fairways....and where is the ranger? Had a 3 some and 2 some join in front of an inch of twosomes. Added at least an hour to the round

Solid course
Great course got rained out and caught behind a youth golf tournament otherwise great spot

Needs Better Mgmt/Course MAINT.
Staff was nice. $18/person for a cart is a joke. Gas carts are sluggish and suspension awful. Not worth $36 to rent one cart when the greens fee was $33. Fairways were overgrown. Greens average for a busy muni course. Rough was awful. Very hard to find ball. Over grown, not even a challenge, just miserable playing out of it cause of the quality of grass. Could be a good local track if the mgmt took better care of the course.

Great course close to the city. Excellent to get out and walk especially if you get a twilight rate.

Save yourself while you can.
What an absolute disgrace of a course. Between searching for balls 15 minutes each time it lands in the rough or going airborne over the bumpy fairway, this course will take your money with a smile. The course is incredibly unkept. The rough was unbearable. When searching for a ball 5 feet from the fairway, I think my group lost 10 balls. There were leaves on the fairway that had to have been from March. This course hasn’t seen a lawnmower in ages. Was expecting a lot more. Bartenders were pretty cute but besides that pass on the course.

Not coming back
I’ve played this course many times but this was a terrible experience. It seems like the course hasn’t been maintained in over a month. The fairways are like rough and greens are extremely uneven.
Don’t know what’s going on with the grounds crew but it’s UNPLAYABLE.
Don’t waste your money, go somewhere else.
