Solid North Shore Choice
I played Winnetka Golf Club Monday. It was a pleasant surprise. Although there were some areas that were beat up...and a couple of greens in tough condition....overall it was a really enjoyable round! Easily walked, and plenty of sand and water to provide difficulty. I would definitely come back again!

This course used to be beautiful! I’ve seen municipal courses in bad shape! Needs a complete overhaul. Winnetka, Wow! Sad.

This is a $20 course
Staff was rude and course conditions were poor. This place is worth more that $20. Their rates are not in line with what you are getting. Better value in the area elsewhere.

Golf carts in by 8 and slow pace.
Couldn’t finish 12 holes because of the carts in by 8 rule despite tons of sun left. Only let me pay for 9 holes if that’s the case.
Also the carts go super slow which affected place of play

Wet. Heavy rains preceding week left this flood plain course wet and rutted with vehicle traffic. Greens were in good shape due to limited play and CV19 constraints.

Great public course on the north shore. Challenging, but still a lot of fun. Very underrated course.
