Challenging but fun
Tough for the first round of the year but it’s a great course. I’ll definitely be back.
Very challenging course. Greens have a lot of ungelation and very fast. The course was very well manicured. Water is in play 15 of 18 holes so hit it straight
Challenging but worth a shot -- bring lots of balls
Overall, the course layout is challenging and plays as advertised. Lots of water and some tight fairways. Greens were pretty quick, but it is late in the season and there has not been much rain so it is to be expected. Only drawback is the lack of a range to warm up, but they do have three practice bays to loosen up.
Fall Golf
Slowest play ever. Green were punched, dead spots on several greens. Fee is to high for what they offer.
Rename to 14 Bridges :)
A favorite course of mine to play. Water on 14 of 18 holes, they should rename the course 14 Bridges!
Country Club Like
Great comfortable carts and friendly staff. Immaculately maintained course.
October Golf
Had a great time playing as always. One of the best layouts in IL. Gives you a great blend of holes, you don't see the same type of hole twice out here. Greens were punched... but were very smooth. Staff was amazing as well!
Windy & Wet..
I played Seven Bridges many years ago. They have flipped the nines since I was last there. It's a nice course with many challenging holes. The back nine has water in play on six holes....and I mean in play!! It was very windy and if you missed the fairway, you missed finding your ball. The front nine t is a bit easier, but you still need to keep it straight. Nice course if you want to challenge your "A" game. I'd give it another try on a less windy day.
People need to fix their ballmarks!
Course was in good condition but too many unfixed ballparks for a $90 golf course in October.
Leaves are falling so balls are getting hard to find.
Interesting
This was the first time I played this course. I am a 6 handicap and I play twice a week. The condition of the course was horrible. I hate leaving bad reviews, but this course was such a rip off I can't help it. It is the worst greens all summer. they were fast, but they were unkempt, pot-marked, and some even had large unrepaired holes in the middle of the greens. Unbelievable. The fairways were cut by some amateur who does not know how to use a mower. If this was $40 bucks I still wouldn't play it again. For $50 you can play Prairie Bluff which is immaculate, $85 you can play Mistwood, which is my favorite golf course. For $95 you can play Harbor National which is AMAZING. But, this course was awful for $80. I will not return. Save your money and play somewhere you'll get your money's worth.
